Recipe | LCM bars 👩🍳 (save this one!)
It's school holidays, we know the drill. We have no doubt your fridge and pantry have been raided plenty of times already! We've got just the thing to keep the kids busy (at least for a little while) and reward the whole family while they're at it.
Try our Healthy LCM bar recipe (LCM in image was made by big kids so it’s a little more refined 😉)👇
RECIPE
- 4 cups puffed rice (brown preferably)
- 2 cups desiccated coconut
- 1/4 cup chia seeds
- 3/4 cup of coconut oil
- 1 cup of rice malt syrup
- 2/3 cup choc chips (you can see we added some marshmallows too but you may need a little more coconut oil if you do this!)
METHOD
- Line a small slice baking tray with baking paper.
- Put all of the dry ingredients in a bowl.
- Melt coconut oil and rice malt syrup in the microwave until melted. Add to dry ingredients.
- Using your hands, mix all of the ingredients in the bowl.
- Press mixture into tray, at least 2cm thick. Place in fridge to harden.
- Enjoy!
